Hi, I’m Phillip. I’ve been working with athletes and driven movers for over 10 years, helping them take a more thoughtful approach to rehabilitation and performance. I grew up in Hamburg, Germany and have been living in Amsterdam since 2018, dus ik spreek ook gewoon Nederlands.
My focus is not just on reducing pain or improving performance in the gym, but on helping people better understand their body, build physical confidence and prepare for the real demands of their sport.
Every person moves differently, responds differently and comes with different goals, training backgrounds and physical demands. That’s why the process is always built around the individual rather than a generic programme or fixed approach.
My background in physiotherapy, strength & conditioning and combat sports continues to shape the way I work. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in particular has taught me a lot about awareness, pressure, timing, efficiency and long-term development. Those principles continue to influence the way I approach both rehabilitation and performance coaching today.
I believe performance is built through understanding, consistency and learning when to push harder and when to slow things down. The goal is always long-term progress: building knowledge, physical capacities and confidence that lasts beyond the clinic or gym.
